The Vineyards at Jockey’s Neck is set within view of the James River in James City County Virginia and just 4 miles from the restored area of Colonial Williamsburg. The community was conceived in 1989 to site just 99 homes on 224 acres of tranquil land adjacent to the acclaimed Williamsburg Winery. The natural setting has two lakes, and 86 acres of green space with walking trails where wildlife abounds. It is a community that has an environment reminiscent of Town & Country where neighbors truly matter.

The Vineyards is a unique Williamsburg community that is quaint yet has many high-end amenities typically associated with larger country club communities. As you enter The Vineyards you drive past rows of grapes maturing in the summer sun while you are shaded by the majestic Sycamores which is the signature of The Vineyards.

A social focal point is the swimming facility for the enjoyment of our homeowners during warm Summer days, but it doesn’t stop there. Two hard-surface tennis courts are available year round for those with a competitive spirit. Two fresh water lakes are at the center of The Vineyards – Lake Joachim and Ajacan Lake. They are teaming with wildlife and can be fished by our residents in the common areas off the bank, or by non-powered boats from the lake.
